Purpose of the clinical librarian group:

To share ideas and good practice; to coordinate and create regional standards that enable consistent, high quality services are delivered.
To give support and mentor those new to the CL role in the South if appropriate.

Establishing a Clinical Librarian service: a practical framework The process for designing and implementing a Clinical Librarian service is a topic not often detailed in the published literature. The utilization of project management tools and a planned strategic approach for the development of a Clinical Librarian project is briefly outlined in this paper.
Evaluating the impact of clinical librarians on clinical questions during inpatient rounds Objective: The investigation sought to determine the effects of a clinical librarian (CL) on inpatient team clinical questioning quality and quantity, learner self-reported literature searching skills, and use of evidence-based medicine (EBM).
