NMC 2018 Standards and South PAD

The NMC published new standards for education in May 2018. To support this work, Accredited Academic Institutions (AEIs) and Practice providers across Wessex have worked collaboratively to produce training resources to help with the preparation of current and new staff to undertake the new roles of Practice Supervisor, Practice Assessor and Academic Assessor.

E-learning to prepare for CLiP e-learning package developed by Plymouth University for Health Education England.
Stepping Stones Development Programme Stepping Stones extends the NMC Assessment and Supervision roles to include a three-tier placement support framework: Practice Assessor (NMC Registrant); Principle Practice Supervisor (Registrant on a Professional Register); and Practice Supervision Support (Bands 3-5 including newly qualified nurses and Nursing Associates).
